USO New England Creates Pop-Up USO Center in Boston for Deployed Sailors

Service members relax in a pop-up USO center at the Hynes Convention Center

225 Easter goody bags were delivered to welcome the deployed service members to Boston

Celebrating 100,000 COVID-19 vaccines administered at the Hynes Convention Center clinic by soldiers and sailors deployed to Boston from Virginia
USO New England has been proud to be able to support the 224 Virginian sailors and soldiers currently deployed to Boston, where they are proving around 7,000 COVID-19 vaccines a day to the public at the Hynes Convention Center.
The USO launched a pop-up center at the Convention Center to provide a place where the sailors could relax and refresh while deployed. We were also on hand to deliver 224 Easter goody bags, and to help celebrate (with cookies in hand, of course!) their 100,000th vaccine administered!
We are grateful to be serving and supporting these sailors and soldiers, and are looking forward to more ways we can support them throughout their stay in Boston.
Thank you for all you are doing for the citizens here in Massachusetts – we look forward to supporting you while you’re supporting us!
