Rucksacks to Backpacks Private event for military families with valid ID cards only Parents, if you are looking for school supplies look no further! The USO and USS Constitution are holding a 2022 back-to-school “Rucksacks to Backpacks” event on 3 August from 6-8 pm. Please bring the whole family for this fun-filled evening where children can pick out backpacks, school supplies, take tours, play fun activities, and explore the USS Constitution Museum!

In a rush? No worries! Stop by anytime between 6-8pm to pick up your reserved grab ‘n go pre-packed bookbag with school supplies.

Tickets are reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration is open until August 2, 2023, and tickets are valid for 1-8th graders. When reserving tickets, PLEASE only select the number of tickets for the amount of backpacks you would like. Any participants not in 1-8th grade will not require a ticket for entry. All family members are welcome to join, please keep non-service animals at home. Parking and transportation recommendations may be found at the link below.
