A Busy St. Patrick's Weekend in Boston

Lunch with the visiting USS Danvers

It’s been a busy week of green at USO New England as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Boston!
We kicked off the weekend by welcoming the crew of the USS Jason Dunham with Girl Scout cookies and lots of maps and brochures to help the crew enjoy their time in the city. On Saturday we hosted a fun filled day of snacks, crafts, and stories at Hanscom Air Force Base at our St. Patrick’s Storytime event as part of the Bob Hope Legacy Ready Program. Our last stop was the USS Constitution, where we dropped off donuts, muffins, and plenty of coffee to fuel the crew for their march in the South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade!
We were certainly feeling lucky all weekend long with so many opportunities to support and celebrate our service members and their families!
