"Pizza My Heart" Valentine's Pizza Deliveries
USO New England staff and volunteers were busy this week spreading the Valentine’s Day love throughout New England with the delivery of pizza parties to close to 300 military personnel as part of our “Pizza My Heart Event.”
We are proud to be have been able to deliver pizza to five units, nominated by their members, thanks to the terrific assistance of local pizza places.
Deliveries were made to the 150 personnel of Hanscom Medial Clinic & National Guard MEDCOM, both at Hanscom Air Force Base, who have been on the front line of COVID relief and support for the past year. Additional party deliveries headed to another 115 personnel in units in Boston, the Coast Guard First District and Navy Recruiting District, and Coast Guard Station New Castle, New Hampshire.
