Emotional Wellness

Who couldn’t use a little pick me up, even on the best day? The USO realizes this and understands that it is important to support both our service members and their families.

At USO New England we offer a number of programs and events that support and foster emotional well being and wellness within the family unit.

For those far from home – or about to leave for a length of time – it’s about staying connected. To bridge that gap, and help shorten the distance, we offer pre and post deployment recreational opportunities, United through Reading Sessions - where deploying service members can record themselves reading a favorite story to their child, and by providing special events such as a visit by Trevor Romain & the Comfort Crew to get military kids talking about what it’s like to be separated from someone you love.

Be sure to check out our monthly events calendar and give us a call, email us or stop by if you’d like to inquire about a UTR recording session or other Transition support programs such as Oxygen 360.
